National Manufacturing and Technical Head Job Summary: As the Manufacturing and Technical Head in the Water Treatment and Glass Bottling Industry, you will be responsible for the production of the glass bottle water bottling plants and overseeing and managing all technical aspects related to water treatment processes and glass bottling operations. Your role involves ensuring the efficiency, safety, and compliance of technical systems, implementing quality control measures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead a team of technical professionals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Salary Range: Salary Range: 10 lacs to 15 lacks PA. Key Responsibilities: Manufacturing: Lead and manage the production team, including supervisors and line workers, to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet production targets and customer demand while maintaining high product quality standards. Oversee the maintenance of production equipment and machinery to ensure maximum uptime and minimal downtime. Implement and manage production KPIs to monitor and improve operational efficiency, throughput, and product quality. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards. Monitor production costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenses while maintaining high product quality. Lead and mentor the production team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning. Water Treatment Management: Develop, implement, and optimize water treatment processes to ensure the supply of high-quality water for production. Monitor and analyze water quality parameters, and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal process conditions. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in water treatment. Glass Bottling Operations: Oversee the technical aspects of glass bottling operations, including equipment maintenance, process optimization, and quality control. Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless integration of technical processes in the bottling line. Implement best practices for glass packaging to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of technical professionals, including engineers, technicians, and quality control specialists. Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure the development and performance of the technical team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and safety within the technical department. Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of water and glass bottle quality. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Work closely with quality assurance teams to address and resolve product quality issues. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations related to water treatment and glass bottling. Interface with regulatory bodies and participate in audits to demonstrate adherence to industry standards. Project Management: Lead technical projects related to process improvement, technology upgrades, and equipment installations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution within established timelines and budgets. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 10 years Proven experience in a technical leadership role of which a minimum of 2 years within the water treatment and glass bottling industry. In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes, glass packaging technology, and quality control systems. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Should be fluent at communication in English, Tamil & Hindi.
