Job description

 

Position Summary

 

 

 

The resource will work as part of Global Security Technology team (GST) and will focus on Datapower Infra services. Perform Incident analysis and troubleshoot to resolve. Perform engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework.

 

Responsible for deployment, configuration, and application integration DataPower appliances in Pre-production and Production environments. Support the application development teams to implement Service Oriented Architecture and integration of custom developed web services with DataPower features.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Experienced DataPower Technical Lead.
  • Technical hands-on DataPower infrastructure experience (DataPower development experience would also be advantageous but not essential for the role)
  • Ability to multi task and work in a high pressured environment
  • Strong DataPower product knowledge
  • API Connect product knowledge desirable
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills
  • Strong device performance/capacity metric knowledge
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, provide on-call support
  • Ability to multi task and work in a high pressured environment
  • Strong communication Skills
  • Experience in SSL renewals and DP firmware minor / major upgrades (APIC patching / ssl renewal experience advantageous)
  • Experience in working in a Datapower/APIC role within the insurance/banking Industry (preferred)
  • Manage and troubleshoot incidents
  • Support migrations
  • Experience in Administration and configuration management tasks
  • Good Troubleshooting skills and monitoring activities
  • Strong knowledge in DP Firmware Upgrades
