Job Title : Head of Audit and Accounts Payables Work location : Bangalore
Job Description: Carl Zeiss India is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our finance team as the Head of Audit and Accounts Payables. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the audit processes and managing the accounts payables function to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead and manage the audit team, overseeing internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. 2. Develop and implement audit plans, strategies, and procedures to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and financial systems. 3. Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement in financial processes, recommending and implementing solutions. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounts payables processes, optimize working capital, and enhance vendor relationships. 5. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliation of accounts payables in accordance with established guidelines. 6. Monitor and enforce compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and legal requirements. 7. Provide leadership in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. 8. Collaborate with senior management to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance. 9. Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in audit and accounts payables. Qualifications and Experience: 1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification such as CPA, CA, or CIA is preferred. 2. Proven experience in leading audit teams and managing accounts payables functions in a multinational environment. 3. Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and financial regulations. 4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 5. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 6. Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
