About the role:
A site coordinator in an interior design company typically assists with various administrative tasks to support the design team. Their responsibilities may include:
Client Communication: Communicating with clients to schedule meetings, gather information, and provide updates on projects.
Project Management : Assisting in project management tasks such as creating timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Documentation: Maintaining project documentation, including contracts, proposals, and invoices.
Resource Management: Coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to procure materials and services needed for projects.
Budgeting: Assisting in budget management by tracking expenses, preparing cost estimates, and monitoring project costs.
Coordination: Facilitating communication and coordination between various stakeholders, including clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers.
Research: Conducting research on design trends, materials, and products to support the design team's creative process.
Administrative Support: Providing general administrative support such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing files.
Software Skills: Proficiency in software tools used in the interior design industry, such as CAD software, project management tools, and office software.
Creativity: While not always required, some side coordinators may also contribute creatively to design projects, such as creating mood boards or assisting with space planning.
