Job purpose This position is responsible for Information Security Operations Center projects (from conception to completion), for a broad range of Information Security initiatives, for setting priorities and delivering quality solutions to support PHINIA’s business. Planning, scheduling, directing, and coordinating resources and activities to meet business requirements and project completion dates. Research and recommend the appropriate tools for security monitoring security and review data from those systems to ascertain risk or issues. Applies technical and managerial skills to manage area of responsibility, while managing the budget and cost effectiveness as well. Establishes and maintains positive business relationships throughout the business community. Key responsibilities Hire and oversee APAC team of Security Operations Center Professionals Mentor and build a diverse, global, and high-performance team by creating appropriate learning opportunities for career development Harmonize operational security risk programs across PHINIA, working with the business to obtain positive and secure outcomes Maintain a strong, collaborative partnership with Security, Infrastructure, Legal, Internal Audit and IT teams, establish credibility as a trusted advisor to stakeholders working closely with cross-functional teams. Prepare and deliver meaningful operational security risk metrics to IT and Business leadership Continually monitor emerging cyber risks to find potential new threats and redesign security risk processes accordingly · Provide project management and information technology expertise for security software projects and system support Security requirement gathering by evaluating business strategies; researching evolving information security standards Responsible for change management of applications within area of security. Define ambitious, measurable goals, objectives, and identify metrics and solutions that show impact and progress over time Train and coordinate the team for tracking and monitoring of system or network security incidents; Enforcing security policies and procedures and coordinating system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments Maintains the Security Awareness, Data Leak Prevention and endpoint security programs · Applies technical and managerial skills to manage area of responsibility, while managing the budget and cost effectiveness CrowdStrike EDR Data Leak Prevention Vulnerability Management KnowBe4 Security Awareness Accenture Managed Security Monitoring and Alerting 24x7 Incident Response Team Technical Training eDiscovery Security Architecture What we’re looking for · Preferred: A four-year degree in Information Technology with an emphasis in information security. · Required: A Bachelor’s Degree with experience in Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related field. 3 to 5 years Information Technology experience, of experience in Information Security Risk Management Proven track record in building and leading a high-performing team of risk analysts Working knowledge of common information security management frameworks , regulatory requirements, and applicable standards such as: ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOX, etc. Strong Project Management Skills Key Competencies 1. Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Application (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 2. Knowledge of Information Systems security architecture, security policies, procedures, and best practices. 3. knowledge of information protection methodologies and concepts, such as identification and authentication, access control, inception and audit trails 4. Strong interpersonal communication and coordination skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of employees, leaders at various levels, and other customers.
