Role Description
This full-time Accountant role is based on-site at Gargi Public School, located in Raipur. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring and maintaining the financial records and accounts of the School. This will include the preparation of regular financial statements, conducting audits, and handling accounts payable and receivable.
Qualifications
- At least a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with experience in schools or educational institutions considered a plus
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, as well as proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills, and ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team environment
- Should know both Hindi and English typing
