Job Description:
- Overall responsibility for organization and delivery of high-quality service for all processes within Accounts Payable process area covering invoice processing, payment, reconciliation, employee expense reimbursements and its payment.

- Actively manage a large team, focussing on attraction, retention and development, identify succession for all critical positions and development plan for top talent.
- Managing operational teams, their performance, priorities and providing guidance if required. Secures a sufficient pool of resources to perform operations.
- Develop KPI’s to monitor the performance of the AP process, on accuracy, timely delivery and customer satisfaction
- Meeting all service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) within Accounts Payable process
- Ensuring adherence to process and controls while executing the processes
- Proactively makes and implements recommendations to improve accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Assigning priorities for operations and high-quality services delivered to all business stakeholders
- Promoting Continuous Improvement culture - striving to simplify, standardize and improve processes across all units
- Lead and coordinate cross-team Continuous Improvement projects
- Manages and resolves stakeholders’ issue, performing root cause analysis and proactively suggesting process improvements with understanding of Financial Control Matrix
- Ability to lead special finance projects, manage the process with an ambition to identifying opportunities to automate the process to make it efficient, control strengthening and business intelligence
- Partner to business and other leaders in the group with insightful business and finance inputs relating to key business decisions
- Assist Manager with the production of statutory or branch accounts, internal or external audits

- MBA/MCOM with a minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable supervision role
- P2P process knowledge and expertise
- Proven team management skills, with the ability to direct, encourage, support, and motivate.
- Experience working in a shared service environment and managing senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to transcend between strategic thinking and operational excellence with a focus on quality, control, and execution.
- Strong analytical ability with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
- Willingness to undertake business travel as required around or outside India
- Flexibility to work longer hours at peak times as required
- Self-starter and ability to take initiative in other roles.
Job Profile
