Contexte spécifique à la Business Line / Région The Egis Business Line Consulting and Operations does propose a service continuity from strategic advisory to the operation through the airport engineering and the technical assistance.
We do operate principaly in the mobility services ( road, urban transports, parking), aeronautics, real estate and urbanism. Description De La Mission The Environmental Social Governance Engineer is in charge of the definition, improvement and monitoring of the ESG policy, rules and practices in collaboration with the Business Line, the Region Middle East & Saudi Arabia and the country India,
in conformity with the Group policies, corporate rules, with the local regulations, Health & Safety rules and the Human Resources Management Code applying in the 'Operation & Maintenance, New Services Business Unit'. He will report to the Regional Business Line Director, acting as a key point of contact and information between the local entity and the headquarters, his/her line manager will be the Country Business Line Director.
The main missions are the following ones:
- Assess compliance of the current policies, procedures, regulations which are in place within the Egis Group and are applicable to its international subsidiaries.
- With respect to this assessment, design, propose and structure relevant actions plan in order to meet the Business Line requirements in India.
- Organize a regular follow-up of these action plans & ensure the accurate communication process to the different stakeholders of the company.
- Guarantee the relevant level of information/reporting to the RBLD and the Practice Manager for ESG.
- Visit operations throughout India
- Liaison with the other ESG contacts of the Business Line C&O network, take part in the overall continuous improvement program.
- Being an ambassador of the Egis practices and standards promoted.
He will be based in Egis' Indian Head Office in Gurgaon (nearby New Delhi) and
will regularly travel and visit road operational sites, which are spread all over India. Profil The applicant has an engineering diploma as well as a first experience on ESG topics/project management. Ideally, the applicant has a first knowledge/experience of the Indian or South Asian working environment. A background in the engineering domain or in other fields like industrial one would be appreciated.
He/she should have
the ability to work autonomously and confortably within an
international environment. The ability to integrate quickly the Group and communicate assertively in an international context are necessary,
therefore fluency in English and relational skills are key to perform successfully this role. The VIE is only applicable for candidates coming from the European Union, especially from France. To comply with regulations specific to India,
you must have obtained your last diploma less than a year ago if you are a French national.
