Financial Controller Location: Powai, Mumbai ( Kindly note that this will be a Work form Office Opportunity Working Days: 5 days working (Monday to Friday) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven financial leader with a proven track record of success in financial management, strategic planning, and team leadership. As the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial direction of the company and ensuring its long-term financial health. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the annual budgeting process. Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis. Collaborate with department heads to create accurate financial forecasts. Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds for daily operations. Implement effective cash management policies to optimize working capital. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. Conduct periodic risk assessments and recommend improvements to mitigate financial risks. Audit Coordination: Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during annual audits. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing requirements. Optimize the company's tax position and identify opportunities for tax savings. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Provide guidance on complex accounting issues and technical matters. Qualifications & Requirements: CA Degree is a must have, certifications like CPA, CFA, and an MBA degree will be an added on plus. 7+ years of proven experience in financial management, with a focus on controllership responsibilities. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial principles, and regulatory compliance. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in financial software and ERP systems. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. About Truemeds: Our vision is to make healthcare affordable and accessible to all.
