JOB OVERVIEW

The Director of Regional Strategic Pricing Management will lead the implementation of the company's value-base methodology in India (and possibly other regions such as the Middle East, Africa and Australia) and will be responsible for managing regional pricing for Ohmium's hydrogen solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic, business, technical and process-oriented mindset, excel at managing multiple customer engagements, be passionate about clean technology industries and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Duties And Responsibilities

Implement the company's business process and best practices for value-based assessment and pricing In the aforementioned regions Identify and quantify differentiation (vs competing solutions) In customer applications Structure appealing value propositions by converting value differentiation to attractive economic and commercial proposals Communicate value differentiation to customers and evaluate alternative business models that optimize value delivered. Engage, In partnership with the regional sales teams, In contract negotiations to help secure a fair price for the value delivered through the product and services offered Influence regional pricing formulation for all products and services in collaboration with Strategic Marketing & Pricing, R&D, and Service teams. Act as the central point for competitive Intelligence In the region, by overseeing intelligence gathering about industry dynamics, competitive conditions, and overall business needs. Manage all pricing communication and competitive intelligence channels for effectively gathering Inputs and communicating pricing policies and updates. Prepare written and oral presentations for internal and external stakeholders and maintain all necessary channels for communication and intelligence gathering. Support regional sales teams In responding expeditiously to requests for pricing (RFPs). Collaborate with Policy & Government Relation teams to evaluate green hydrogen incentives worldwide. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure full execution of the company's value-based business process. Providing feedback to the R&D and product teams about new differentiated features that could provide unique value to customers In different applications

LOCATION, TRAVEL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work location is the Ohmium office in Bangalore India.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 30% of the time.
  • Compliance with the Ohmium Vaccination Policy.

FORMAL EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENT

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline such as economic, business, engineering, or a combination of education, training, and experience, required.

Work Experience

  • Experience (both technical and commercial) with hydrogen industry, hydrogen equipment supply & Installation, and hydrogen operation and maintenance, highly valued.
  • + Ten (10) years of progressive experience in demonstrating analytical capacity in developing insights, defining metrics, and making recommendations, required.
  • Financial modeling expertise from prior experience in banking, consulting, or project finance, required.
  • Experience with total cost of ownership analytics and concepts such as the levelized cost of hydrogen (LCOH) or the levelized cost of electracy (LCOE), required.
  • Experience with managing pricing processes, implementing pricing initiatives or creating pricing processes or similar business processes, preferred.
  • Experience in management/team leader role with a track record of coaching and mentoring team members to perform at higher levels through a positive, interactive style, preferred.
  • Experience with using data access tools and building visualizations based on large datasets and multiple data sources, preferred.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Reports To: VP of Corporate Strategic Pricing

Interfaces With: Sales and business development, strategic marketing & pricing, legal, finance, customers, industry groups.
