Job description
Role Overview:
We seek a skilled and innovative Mobile Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centric and performance-driven mobile experiences that meet our business objectives and delight our users.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Mobile Application Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for Android platforms using programming languages such as Kotlin (Android)
2. Code Optimization: Write efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards. Optimize application performance and responsiveness.
3. UI/UX Implementation: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
4. Feature Implementation: Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional features within the mobile application.
5. Version Control: Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage source code and collaborate effectively with other developers in a team environment.
6. Bug Fixing and Maintenance: Identify and resolve issues, bugs, and bottlenecks in existing applications. Perform regular maintenance, updates, and improvements to enhance application stability and performance.
7. Cross-Platform Compatibility: Ensure applications work seamlessly across various devices, screen sizes, and orientations.
8. Third-Party Integrations: Integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and services to enhance application functionality, such as social media integration, payment gateways, and analytics tools.
9. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications to identify and address issues related to functionality, usability, and performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in mobile app development
- Proficiency in programming languages
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and guidelines.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and learn new skills quickly.
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices is a plus.
