Key r esponsibilities:
This role will undertake a variety of HR functional duties as a HR Generalist supporting HR Operations, Payroll Processing, Employee Engagement, Statutory Compliance and global support for HR projects.
The ideal candidate should have a broad knowledge of Human Resources and general operational responsibilities. They should be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the smooth running of HR Operations & Projects.
HR Operations: 35%
- Coordinate with TA team and plan the new hire Onboarding & Induction program.
- Plan onboarding strategies and perform new employee orientation to deliver an exceptional first day experience.
- Initiate Background Verification & Pre- Employment Medical check of Offered candidates.
- Follow up with candidate for Pre- joining documents if any required.
- Meet & Greet (Telephonic/ Teams) the new hire on the first day and introduce them to the line manager, new hire buddy and line manager.
- Complete signing of contract and important documents, share welcome kit and provide information on CAE policies and on onboarding check list.
- Support the new hire during the probationary period by assisting with opening a bank account, ID Card issuance, family relocation, and work familiarization.
- Send new employee communication email to the India team within 2 days of joining.
- Provide the new employee details to admin, Mediclaim vendor and Payroll vendor for login creation.
- Update Employee insurance data up to date and support as required.
- Maintain, update and file employee records (physical and electronic).
Payroll & Statutory Compliance: 30%
- Ensure smooth administration of payroll process and ensure timely disbursement of salary.
- Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information.
- Address the Payroll queries raised by employees and work with the payroll vendor for resolving the discrepancies.
- Processing of Full and final settlement of exit employees
- Procuring the meal coupon & credit the balance on monthly basis as per eligibility
- Ensure timely updating and maintenance of employee database with new hires & exits.
- Be the SPOC for the audit requirement.
Em ployee Engagement, Training & Development & HR Support: 25%
- Arrange monthly employee engagement activities with focus on wellness, diversity at the workplace and local events.
- Assist in enrolling employees in Performance Improvement Plan if required and monitor their performance while on the plan.
- Identify suitable trainers for internal and external training programs and coordinate with them.
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures.
- Arrange trainings for CAE initiatives like the Code of Business Conduct, CAE+me, leadership, time management etc. to develop employee skills.
- Assist with HR project work in order to support the HR Manager in achieving both Company and departmental objectives.
- Maintain Leave Management tool with updates & maintain the leave balance
- Issue HR letters as per employee request for bank loan purpose, service letter etc
- Assist with other HR matters as required by the HR Manager
Vendor Management: 10%
- Identify, Assess and Onboard new vendors in consultation with HRBP for the HR function
- Undertake regular assessment of vendor performance and ensure proper alignment with agreed SOP’s
- Ensure timely processing of vendor bills
- New Vendor agreement & timely renewal of the same
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum 5 to 8 years of experience as HR Generalist, Human Resources Operations, Payroll
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience in HRIS tools like WorkDay etc
- High degree of professionalism and ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
- Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills with the ability to communication with various levels of management.
