Principal R2 Architect
Qualification :
Bachelors/Masters in Engineering or equivalent
Responsibility :
NFR & SLx Management :
- .Define and track error budgets to track the efficiency of application reliability.
Enterprise Architecture :
- .Create Resiliency design patterns applicable to the enterprise architecture landscape considering the technology stack, solution design, infrastructure, cloud solution, data architecture etc. Develop Observability solution and infuse elements of observability into enterprise architecture through configuration or scaffolding patterns during development.Create bespoke AI solutions to reduce MTTR as part of the enterprise architecture solution.Optimize Enterprise architecture for optimal capacity on prem and efficient utlization on cloud to reduce the IT expenditure.Conduct Fault Vulnerability Analysis to identify lapses in the Enterprise Architecture in addressing business reslience and provide solutions.
Validation :
- .Review NFR validation and chaos engineering strategy aligning to the objectives.
Deployment :
.Strategies :
- Design blue/green environments or canary releases or other release strategy for zero downtime deployments.
Continuous improvement :
- .Priorotize the reliability improvement user stories for implementation.
Monitoring & Observability :
- .Explore the possibility of predictive analytics and anomaly detection solution for automated problem detection and recovery.
.Capacity Management :
- .Conduct periodic capacity evaluation and size optimal and cost effective to meet the workload demands.
Knowledge Management :
- .Create a knowledge repository with key learnings and solutions.
Market Research :
- .Conduct market research in technologies, tools and frameworks supporting resilience and reliability engineering and bring light to service and skill maturity.
Thought Leadership :
- .Publish PoVs and whitepapers on Resilience & Reliability Engineering for newer technologies and markets.
Client Advocacy :
- .Build customer relations by show casing the benefits realized in work done and partner to drive the roadmap.
Documentation :
- .Document the best practices and reusable knowledge factory to skill up.
Process Improvements and Adherence :
- .Contribute to service improvements based on the market demands and customer needs.
People management :
- .Delivery governance of the team Supporting internal/external interviews.
- .Mentor community members.
