What you will be doing

Position Summary

Under the general direction of the Director, Infrastructure Transition & Controls, CMDB Director takes overall responsibility for the delivery and continuous improvement of CMDB. Director will lead a team of CMDB analysts and several crucial transformational initiatives.

The nature of the role and operating environment are very dynamic. Role holder will play a pivotal role in transforming CMDB, adopting CSDM, onboarding new acquisitions, and ensuring efficient and efficient use of CMDB data across ITSM practices (and beyond). This requires a strong seasoned leader with proven expertise influencing senior leadership and relentlessly pursuing strategic goals with rapid realization of value through any applicable quick wins.

A strong candidate is expected to have akin relevant industry knowledge, proven track record of building strong business cases and executing large scale ITSM transformations directly impacting thousands of team members.

The CMDB Director will be no stranger to presenting all the way to CIO/CISO with a view of influencing strategic direction on a given matter. Successful candidate is expected to have a pragmatic approach towards ITSM - one that combines no-compromise focus on IT Service stability whilst facilitating rapid pace of change. Automation and value chain simplification will be key to high performance in this role. Focus on strong yet pragmatic governance whilst delivering highly effective CMDB in a shared service and federated manners through partnerships will be pivotal.

This position requires hands on experience and certification (preferred) with core practice areas for ITSM. Organizational Change Management expertise is highly desirable.

Salary Range.

$118,000 - 181,720

.This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
