Job Description :Roles and Responsibilities : Software Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for software products, including user guides, technical specifications, release notes, and API documentation.Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office Skills: Utilize Microsoft Visio and other Office applications to create diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual aids to enhance the clarity and usability of documentation. SDLC Knowledge: Understand and document processes related to software development, operations, and support, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.Collaboration with Teams and Vendors: Work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to gather information, review technical designs, and ensure alignment with documentation standards and requirements. Build a Strong Document Library: Collaborate with different teams and vendors to build and maintain a comprehensive document library that serves the needs of various organizational stakeholders. Good to Have Skills : Basic knowledge of cloud data engineering, data ingestion, data warehousing, databases, ETL processes, reporting/data visualization, and familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C/C++. Stay Updated on New Technologies: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and updates in the software development landscape, and incorporate relevant information into documentation as needed. Qualifications : Bachelor's/Masters's degree in technical writing, computer science, information technology, or a related field. Proven experience 5+ in technical writing, with a focus on software documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders. Good to have : Basic knowledge of cloud technologies, databases, ETL processes, and programming languages.
