JOB TITLE: Customer Onboarding PM Executive

 

RESPONSIBLE TO: Customer Onboarding PM Team Leader 

 

MAIN LOCATION: Jordan, Amman

 

APG eCommerce Solutions is a rapidly growing startup that specializes in cross-border eCommerce logistics. The company has ambitious plans and are soon about to launch a new bespoke operational platform to power its operations.

 

The Customer Onboarding team is the beating heart of the organization. As a Customer Onboarding – Project Management Executive, you will work with the team on traditional projects duties such as planning, risk management, stakeholder management and follow-up. 

 

You will be based in Jordan, and report to the Customer Onboarding PM Team Leader, also working across the organization with all C-level executives and the rest of the department Heads with on-going developments.

 

 

Objective:

· Review requirements with the team and liaise with customers and suppliers to understand the desired outcome.

· Act as project lead or project support as required on several projects at once.

· Understand available technology and business needs, to recommend an effective, reliable solution for approval.

· Gain approval of stakeholders to ensure project progression.

· Create and maintain comprehensive project change documentation

· Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

· Coordinate internal development resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of IT projects.

· Write comprehensive development specifications and engage in progress.

· Monitor and track individual project deliverables and take a hands-on approach with deliverable sign off.

· Demonstrate functionality of the overall project output to receive go live sign off.

· Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

· Manage effective handovers to business including documenting changes made.

· Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.

· Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.

· Report and escalate to management as needed.

· Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

· Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

· Demonstrate good command of IT tools and back office applications like DevOps, Jira, Excel, Outlook, Postman API, SoapUI and others.

Essential Skills:

· Good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science for technical project managers

· Proven working understanding of agile project theory.

· 0 to 2+ year(s)' work experience in any relevant field.

· Experience working within a projects team.

· Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience of software development and web technologies

· Demonstratable experience in conveying complicated or technical aspects to others.

· Experience with explaining business rules and requirements to teams actioning instructions.

· Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

· Desire to go over and beyond to help the IT team fulfil their IT strategy

 

Desirable Skills:

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

· PMP / PRINCE II Agile certification is a plus

· Azure DevOps

· Jira

· Postman/SOAP UI

 

Additional Requirements:

 

1. In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the postholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the CIO from time to time. Subject to adequate experience and/or training.
