Job description
- Operational management and support of the infrastructure and ensure the smooth running of the network, servers, and system applications. Monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure
- Resolving incidents that could not be resolved by the Service Desk or generated by the monitoring system.
- Installations, updates, tests, planning and configuration of the infrastructure.
- Should be flexible to work / support to different time zones based on the project assigned.
- Collaborate with local IT teams for technical scoping for any local need in data center implementations.
- Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Mandatory Deliverables:
- Operational Management: Ensure the smooth running of network servers and system applications through active operational management.
- Infrastructure Monitoring: Continuously monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to prevent and quickly respond to any issues.
- Incident Resolution: Resolve incidents that were not handled by the Service Desk or were flagged by the monitoring systems.
On-Demand Deliverables:
- Technical Scoping and Implementation: Work with local IT teams on technical scoping for any local needs in data center implementations, which could be on an as-needed basis depending on project demands and local requirements.
- Flexible Time Zone Support: Provide support to different time zones, which may be requested on-demand based on the projects needs and timelines.
Optional Deliverables:
- Infrastructure Updates and Testing: Installations, updates, testing, planning, and configuration of the infrastructure may be part of ongoing improvement and could be seen as optional until they become necessary due to system requirements or updates.
Education Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering.
- 3-5 Years of relevant experience.
Certifications:
- Microsoft Azure Certification
- CCNA
- VMware

Technical skills:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in managing large Windows server based platforms.
- Very good knowledge of Windows operating systems and working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, ADFS, Exchange, IIS, SCCM
- VMware Virtual Infrastructure Management Knowledge
- Knowledge of Powershell scripts for the automation and management of Windows infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Office365 and Azure
- Knowledge of network switching: TCP/IP, subnetwork calculations, VLAN concepts, firewall
- Installation of active devices in data center
- Fluent in English both spoken and written as he is going to work at global level.
