Roles and Responsibilities:
Planning and Coordination : Support the HSE Manager and team in planning, coordinating, and implementing effective HSE policies, ensuring alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements. Training and Orientation : Conduct HSE training and orientation for all new employees, ensuring they are aware of safety protocols, emergency response systems, and compliance standards. Compliance Assurance : Ensure all worksites within the plant adhere to HSE policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, conducting regular checks to verify compliance. Record Keeping: Maintain records for near misses and unsafe conditions, taking preventive measures as necessary. Keep comprehensive records of safety-related activities such as training, drills, and incidents. Premises Inspection : Conduct regular rounds throughout the entire premises, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring a safe working environment. Environmental Compliance: Manage ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) samples collection, submission to the lab, and approval for effluent discharge. Handle hazardous waste collection, storage, and disposal in accordance with regulations. Safety Induction: Conduct safety induction training for new employees, ensuring they are well-informed about safety protocols and procedures. Work Permit Management: Verify and manage work permits, ensuring proper entry, auditing, and compliance with safety standards. Review and update work permits records regularly. Incident Reporting : Notify and document unsafe acts and conditions, maintaining an updated weekly safety report. Counsel individuals working in unsafe conditions and take corrective actions. Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) : Take regular BBS rounds, record observations, and implement corrective measures to promote a proactive safety culture. Monitor class-1 work permits daily at the site and update permit records accordingly.Job tags
