Job Overview

We are hiring a female Accountant for our company located in Andheri West, Mumbai. This is a full-time position with the option of working from home. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of mid-level experience in accounts. The primary responsibility of the role is to handle various accounting tasks and ensure compliance with tax regulations. The candidate should have a strong understanding of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, GST, and general accounting principles.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4 to 6 years of experience in accounts
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
• Knowledge of GST and tax regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience in working with financial statements and reports

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payments
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and investigate any discrepancies
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Handle tax-related tasks, including GST calculations and filings
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any accounting-related issues
• Stay updated with accounting regulations and best practices
