Job description
- Ensure implementation of actions to achieve EHS targets and Objectives.
-Routine Safety audits for identifying Hazards & Risks, Unsafe Conditions / Acts and conduct meetings / Toolbox talk on regular basis
-Management of Risk assessment, Job safety Analysis and Work permit systems
-Ensure that all the EHS Licenses / Consents are available and conditions complied
-Detailed Study and implementation of PPE usage at shop floor and ensuring employees to adhere to Safety requirements / Norms in Shop floor
-Conducting Safety committee meeting and ensure the closure of committee recommendations
-Ensuring the availability and working of Fire Safety equipment all the time
-Leads and supports Incidents investigations and reporting
-To Coordinate for ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001:2018 Certification / Surveillance audits
-Developing EHS Plans and implementing the same
-Leads and supports implementation of Corporate EHS requirements and Standards
-Develops and Conducts EHS awareness and training programmes for all the employees along with Safety induction to new joiners
-Supporting and Ensuring EHS Compliance to all the applicable regulatory Norms all the time
-Coordinating with Auditors during the internal and external and Customers audit related to EHS
-Conduct EHS audit for Vendors and Waste / Scrap buyers
-Monitoring of the Environmental Parameters as per the applicable legal requirements and immediate corrective actions to be taken for any deviations
-Submit MIS report on a monthly basis to Plant Manager and Department Head on legal, Statutory Compliances under various Acts as applicable
-Operation and Maintenance of wastewater treatment Plants (STP and ETP) in a Scientific manner
-Coordinating for Environmental Sustainability projects implementation
-Increasing Risk perception of employees
-Ability to complete other duties as assigned by Management / EHS Leadership
