Job description
- Lead the outbound sales department for the organisation.
- Develop, implement and sustain an aggressive solicitation program focused on increasing business
- Set clear sales objectives and targets for the members of the sales team
- Develop sales budget and forecast in consultation with the leadership team
- Monitor the performance of the sales team and guide the team members to achieve the targets
- Oversee the implementation of all sales action plans related to the respective market (by segment and geographical locations) as outlined in the Marketing plan.
- Maintain and promote a teamwork environment with effective and clear communication among co-workers
- Monitor account revenue and business production for Corporate / FIT / M.I.C.E. accounts.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key existing and new customers to enable future bookings through activities that include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
- Explore opportunities for event collaborations for the property
- Develop a good understanding of the booking engine and other sales tools used at the organisation.
- Assist the leadership in the creation and maintenance of departmental SOPs and records.
- Oversee the performance of the sales team and conduct daily briefing sessions to ensure that the team is aligned with the company goals and targets
- Analyse information on market trends and share insights with the leadership team.
- Travel to the property for monthly reviews, FAM Tours etc
Candidate requirement:
- Qualification – MBA (Sales)/Bachelor's degree in hospitality/BCOM with relevant experience in hospitality.
- Smart and Pleasing personality
- Excellent Communication skills.
