Job description
Join our Macquarie Asset Management Fund Operations team as a finance/business administration professional with experience in financial services, and an interest in managing and supporting investor requests with various environmental, social and governance (ESG) focused fund raising and day to day fund operations initiatives. In this role you will work closely with senior members of business and finance teams with opportunity to use your initiative in managing transitions, stabilising the process and subsequently improving it as a part of the team’s service offering.
In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining and enhancing investor activities and successfully co-ordinating and completing simple to complex RFPs/DDQs including collating and responding to them. You will collaborate and communicate with multiple functions/stakeholders for sourcing funds/strategy related information including sustainability and ESG specifics, whilst maintaining and managing a document repository. You will also be involved in reviewing and responding to investor queries and identifying questions that can be completed using pre-approved responses and identify and escalate any questions that need to be completed by fund or asset teams. You will conduct frequent review of completed DDQs to identify new responses to be updated in the databank, and coordinate with subject matter experts, gathering confirmation and updates, sharing utilization report capturing the DDQs completed and in pipeline.
To be successful in this role, you will have a degree qualification in Finance and Accounting or Business Administration with minimum 3-4 years’ post-qualification experience in relevant RFP/DDQ domain within a corporate environment. A good understanding of financial markets and financial acumen is highly regarded, and core ESG concepts and reporting applicable to corporate and asset managers.
A good understanding of PRI, GRESB, CDP would be beneficial as is experience writing ESG RFPs/DDQs. You will have great communication skills and are collaborative and resourceful, open to new challenges.
