Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and resultsdriven DOMO Consultant to join our team. As a DOMO Consultant you will play a critical role in leveraging the power of the DOMO platform to transform data into actionable insights for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization analytics and DOMO implementation with a goodtohave familiarity with other tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective DOMO solutions.
- Design and develop custom dashboards reports and data visualizations to meet business objectives.
- Implement and maintain data integration processes within the DOMO platform.
- Work closely with business analysts data engineers and other team members to ensure seamless data flow and accurate representation.
- Provide expertise in DOMO functionalities best practices and innovative approaches to data visualization.
- Conduct training sessions for endusers to enhance their understanding and utilization of DOMO features.
- Perform troubleshooting issue resolution and performance optimization within the DOMO environment.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging features within the DOMO platform.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate DOMO solutions into the overall data strategy.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DOMO Consultant with a focus on data visualization and analytics.
- Strong proficiency in creating custom dashboards reports and data visualizations using DOMO.
- Experience with data integration ETL processes and data modeling within the DOMO platform.
- Knowledge of SQL and other data querying languages.
- Familiarity with other similar tools such as Tableau and Power BI (goodtohave skill).
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a teamoriented environment.
- Experience with DOMO certifications is a plus.
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with other business intelligence tools and platforms.
- Experience in creating calculated metrics and custom datasets in DOMO.
- Knowledge of best practices in data governance and security within DOMO.
Required Skills/Experience 8+ years of progressive experience in HCL WebSphere Commerce v7, v8, v9, WebSphere Application Server, Rational Application Developer/Eclipse, DB2. Experience with microservices, containers, and Orchestration frameworks (K8S). 8+ years of experience in Java J2EE Technology experience specifically: JSP, Servlet, EJB, AOP, JMS, Java Mail, SQL, JDBC, and Struts. Experience in working with Kafka, Redis, Elastic Search, Akamai, etc. Knowledge of Headless architecture e.g. REACT/ NodeJS / GraphQL Open source API knowledge (Apache, ant, axis, commons, Unit, xerces) Experience with jQuery, jQuery Mobile, Dojo, Angular JS, and React JS Experience with continuous integration technologies: Jenkins or QuickBuild and GitHub Knowledge or experience in the application configuration Service Oriented Architecture - SOAP / REST Web Technologies - HTML/CSS/Bootstrap Rapid prototyping Extensive experience working in an AGILE workflow model. System Performance management Problem-solving and analytical thinking Strong oral/written communication skills Knowledge of Mobile technologies PhoneGap/Cordova / iOS / Android / Java / HTML5 a plus
