Garment Technician
Technical support:
- Coordinate with AMS tech team to understand brand tech requirements, new updates and train the office and vendor teams.
- Understand any technical call outs from production/ product developers/ Europe teams to accordingly resolve with vendors, and vice-versa.
- Maintain Proto, Fit, PP, TOP review records with vendors, share weekly updates with PD/production teams, and with the AMS tech teams.
- Create and update vendor performance matrix for sample submission quality and timeline and work towards reducing rejection rates and increasing first time approval rate to 90%.
- Attend fit/PP review meetings.
- Provide advice to development, production, AMS tech teams and vendors on technical call outs with alternatives and solutions.
- Support tech manager in creating and following SOPs (internal and factories).
- Train vendors in understanding brand requirements, empower factory tech teams.
- Attend and add inputs in risk analysis, sample and bulk PPM and other solution oriented relevant meetings.
- Support tech manager in Block benchmarking with AMS and vendors.
- Responsible for fit resubmission/approval follow ups with vendors and AMS. 100% Fit closures to be done before buy receipts. General Team Support
- Ensure team Maintains sample review records.
- Maintain library of vendor sample/tech performance reports.
- Provide technical advice to teams and factories.
- Support the Technical Manager and Senior Manager Production effectively, taking charge of all tech and sample performance related aspects.
- Work in close coordination with production lead, development lead and other support functions for seamless execution.
- Work closely with the techs and vendors.
