Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) Developer located in Bengaluru. The SAP ABAP Developer will be responsible for programming, creating IDocs and BAPls, and implementing Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. The role involves working on SAP and IT projects and collaborating with other developers and project teams.
Responsibility
• Design and programming of company-specific applications based on ABAP.
• Programming and implementation in the existing SAP system at the customer.
• Processing of various ABAP projects in all phases of software development (technical / IT conception, realization, test, support, documentation) Performance optimization and analysis.
• Maintenance, tests and problem analysis.
Mandatory Skills
• Reports: Classical, Interactive, ALV and Extraction programs, Function Groups
• Enhancements: BADI and Enhancement points
• RFC/ Function modules
• Data Dictionary
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in ABAP
Good to have
• Experience in S/4HANA environment or HANA development, e.g. DB procedures, CD§ views, etc.
• Experience in object-oriented programming (preferably
ABAP Objects), software architectures and design patterns
Qualifications
• 4+ years of project experience in ABAP development
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Certifications in SAP ABAP or related technologies is a plus
• Business fluent English
