A Position Overview Position Title Manager - Quality Control Department Operations Corporate Business Level / Band Manager Role Summary: . Ensure quality check of departmental processes and identify Financial, Operational, Regulatory, Legal, Market Conduct and Reputation risks associated with in the process. . Drive process efficiencies through automations and alignment of processes with market best practices . Adherence to service levels across various processes . Effective team management B Organizational Relationships Reports to Direct Senior Manager - Operations Corporate Business Matrix Supervises Full Time / Support Staff C Job Dimensions Geographic Area Covered PAN India Stakeholders Internal Compliance, Audit, Finance, Ops, Sales External Corporate Clients, Intermediaries, Insured Members D Key Result Areas Quality Check . Work collaboratively with Internal & External Stakeholders for identification of high impact areas (Process, Product, UW guidelines, Regulatory requirements, Reinsurance etc) and design controls as well as exception reports to prevent financial losses/ regulatory breaches. . Quality check of departmental process . Quality check of Regulatory (BAP and Non-BAP) & Stakeholder reports . Manage closure of preventive & corrective actions arising of quality check activity . Manage internal & external audit and open points closure Regulatory and Other Senior Management Reporting . Manage Regulatory reporting including Monthly New Business and Renewal Reports, BAP reports, Quarterly Statistics, Public Disclosures, Reinsurance reporting and any other report requested for from time to time . Responsible for understanding the internal stakeholder requirement and delivering as per requirement . 100% accuracy and timeliness in all reporting Reconciliations and Controls . Establish appropriate controls in existing and / or new processes . Monitor the processes at regular frequencies for any gaps, implement appropriate corrective actions and monitor the success System Enhancements . Understand the changes resulting from existing product modifications or refiling or new product launches or regulatory circular . Continuously look for opportunities to automate existing processes to ensure seamless business delivery . Raising of the requirement with IT and ensuring their timely deployment E Skills Required Technical . Good command on MS- Excel, MS-Word, MS-Access, MS-Powe Point Non Technical .
