The Voice & Video Technical Analyst is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the Voice & Video environment through understanding of Cisco VOIP Technology. He should have adequate knowledge of configurations and troubleshooting skills to support projects and performance issues.
Discussion with client concerning requirement. Also engagements included direct interaction with program IT-Infrastructure team for transitions and critical changes.
He / She should also possess good communication skills. In addition, they are responsible for the resolution and/or escalation of the production incidents.
Should be able to understand LAN & WAN terminology and also should be able to correlate their impact on VOIP segment.
Supporting VOIP Cluster components with hands on experience on configuration & administration of
Configuration and supporting QoS & Packet analysis.
Configuration and supporting Switching, VLAN, Ether channel, HSRP.
Troubleshooting Call Manager, Voice Gateway, On Net Calling Issues
Create awareness of VOIP technology in end user
Support VOIP analysis and reporting to achieve savings.
Good Communication skills and ability to coordinate with global stakeholders.
Preparing network performance reports and suggesting recommendations accordingly.
Managing and coordinate with Cisco TAC for escalation.
Suggesting Upgrade plan for Clients by verifying the compatibility matrix.
Escalate the issues to vendor team and coordinate with them to resolve critical issues.
