Company Description ICON Design Automation Pvt. Ltd. (IDAPL) is a Premier EDA Solutions provider for domains of VLSI, Embedded, High-Frequency RF/Microwave Design, Foundry Services, and Packaging Solutions. The team provides end-to-end solutions based on customer requirements for RF and Microwave design, covering the entire range of offerings from component selection to testing.

Role Description This is a full-time role for a Business Development Manager at our Bengaluru and Hyderabad office. The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, developing and executing sales strategies, and negotiating contracts. The position requires frequent interaction with clients, vendors, and internal teams for project management and business development.

Job Location : Bangalore & Hyderabad

Qualification & Required Skills: Bachelor in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Preferably engineer with background in Sales of Hi frequency design projects and EDA tools. 4-8 yrs of experience in Semiconductor sales handling Government clients. Strong relationships with key decision-makers in Government establishments. Technical knowledge of VLSI, Embedded, High-Frequency RF/Microwave Design, Foundry Services, and Packaging Solutions. Proficient in conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Good verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.

Roles & Responsibilities: Responsible for development of sales funnel for assigned region, product lines and market segments. Identify and pursue potential business opportunities. Business Network management. Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Should be knowledgeable in purchase procedures of Government agencies. Report weekly sales activities to the management. Setting up meetings with potential clients and understanding their requirements and concerns. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services. Coordinate with Principal Group for better sales achievement. Coordinate with the Technical and sales coordinator to have better processes and systems. Achieving the given product-wise and yearly sales target.
