Roles and Responsibilities
Handson Linux embedded software development; able to own create and deliver platform components application development and analyze and resolve technical issues
Strong knowledge of ObjectOriented Analysis and Design Software Design Patterns and C coding principles.
Conduct technical design reviews of software to ensure the reliability and performance
Interacting with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platforms
Ensuring SDLC process compliance during requirements gathering architecture design implementation and verification.
Working effectively in an Agile scrum team and continuously improving the team s performance
Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual Quality Management System Quality Management Policy Quality Goals and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives
Responsible for overall software quality including unit testing and verification of the system.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors Degree / Masters in a relevant Engineering discipline (Electronics or Software is preferred)
Minimum 6 years of experience in developing embedded Linux platform application
Strong C C language skills.
Should have handson experience in Shell / Perl/ python scripting
Expertise in using Source control tools
Experience in Build automation and continuous integration
Demonstrated ability to lead a team especially when facing technical challenges
Master s degree in engineering Compute Science or Electronics and Communication
Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements business demands and technical risks/issues
Experience in Eclipse GITLAB
Handson experience with UI development using QML
