Job description
Key Responsibilities: Prepare the Commissioning plans, and schedules for the overall assignment. Guide the contractor ‘s supervisors for safe and productive erection, installation methodology. Participates actively in creating a safety culture at the Jobsite. Update the Manager in accordance with the Execution Plan relates to Cost, Schedules and Client management. Manages the execution of the Commissioning and closeout processes. Functions as the primary interface with clients Adheres to the Standards set forth in the design codes, such as ASME, EN, BS. Guiding clients for cost and Project finance monitoring & Control Inter-department Co-ordination such as Engineering/ competence team etc., Attending project review meeting with client Attending technical review meeting with EPC contractors/Sub suppliers Visiting Supplier Factory for equipment inspection and evaluation
Requirements: Bachelor / Diploma of Engineering degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering from recognized university Minimum 2 years of experience Worked as Erection & Commissioning Engineer in EPC/ EPCM/ Capital Machinery company. Should have competence to resolve and own the technical issues either by self or by liaising with various stakeholders. Should demonstrate a proactive attitude, structured - and analytical mind set. Should be willing to travel/ stay at site as per project requirements. A person with strong leadership and technical skills Good intercommunication skills A good team player who communicates well, open / transparent, takes initiative and possesses great Interpersonal skills. Motivate and mentor the teams particularly during difficult times. Have good organization and negotiation skills. Should possess a strong critical thinking attitude – able to see and work for the big picture. Judgmental and decision maker – Takes ownership and responsibility for the deliverables from his / her team. Active listener and capable of building successful teams.
