Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Test Engineer who is passionate about releasing high-quality software and ensuring the success of new & existing Guidewire Cloud customers. The SCC team works with customers to develop new features, resolve issues, and assure the quality of each customers' production codebase.

Responsibilities - Figure out the most effective testing strategies for our products while adhering and adapting to the Guidewire Test standards.
- Read and understand business requirement documents and determine the best way to create tests for each item assigned to them.
- Create detailed, comprehensive documentation supporting developed testing plans.
- Learn and become proficient at testing multiple Guidewire products.
- Execute tests for each release.
- Confident communication, comfortable speaking your mind and defending ideas based on merit, yet have humility and hunger to learn from others.
Required Skills And Experience - 2- 5 years experience at the minimum (candidate with less experience will not be considered for this position)
- Strong communication skills: written, spoken, and presenting.
- Experience with Agile software development lifecycle and related tools (ex. TFS, Jira, or Rally)
- Experience working with internal development teams and customers to understand business objectives and functional requirements.
- Good knowledge of QA processes and terminology.
- Extensive experience in designing and writing manual test scripts.
- Knowledge of Behaviour Driven Development.
- Experience working with customers and users, providing guidance, and status.
- Ability to work independently within a team.
- Ideally, experience working with Guidewire products
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
