Job description

Responsibilities

Key Areas of Accountability

  • Initiate and complete Tariff determination petitions for filing with Regulatory Commissions, by getting relevant information from Finance, O&M & Project Teams. Obtain favorable order from Tariff including ensuring its compliances.
  • Support the regulatory team in providing any clarifications and justifications on petition as requested by regulatory commission.
  • Ensure compliance in the process of filing Petition like publishing Information in public newspaper advertisement. Attending public hearing of petition etc.
  • File Grant of Transmission License and Tariff Adoption Petitions with Regulatory Commission, after winning LOI in case of Tariff based competitive bidding projects
  • Challenging Orders before higher forums such as Appellate Tribunal for Electricity.
  • Create management report, tracking billing, collection and outstanding
  • Responsible for tracking receivable and also take appropriate actions, for collection of receivables in coordination with the corporate affairs team
  • Clearance of Invoices for our all operating Transmission Project
  • Contribution in Business Development activities related to Transmission/ Distribution Project
  • Responsible for getting availability Certificate from respective load dispatch centers

CHALLENGEs

  • Liasoning with multiple stakeholders like regulatory commission, APTEL, CEA, ministry of Power and other government departments
  • Coordinating with internal teams like O&M, finance, legal etc.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent degree
  • Bachelors in Law or Commerce will be preferable

Technical Competencies

  • Knowledge of Finance, legal and technical aspects of Transmission business
  • Understanding of Financial Aspects getting covered in Regulatory Functions & their implication

Experience

  • 1-2 years of work experience in regulatory function
  • Can Read - Write - Speak Gujarati
