[Recruitment Topic] Assignment using YOLOv8 (You Only Look Once) algorithm and google API (vertex AI) [Company Brief Introduction] Currently, as a healthcare company, we are developing various projects to improve the eating habits of patients and the elderly. Image analysis and data labeling are required to increase the accuracy of this project and to provide users with the features they need. [Background of company establishment] We would like to develop a technology that can solve problems such as health+disease by incorporating AI technology, the biggest problem of senior health care, and learning in real life at the same time as education in hospitals. [Recruitment preference] Image analysis and data labeling are necessary to enhance the accuracy of this project and to provide users with the features they need. The basic implementation of the project has already been completed, and to successfully conclude the project, we need a talent who can effectively train YOLOv8 and handle the Google API well. This project incorporates three major functions. YOLOv8 YOLOv8 is used to locate each image. There are two classes in total, and when there are multiple unspecified objects within a single image, these objects must be detected almost perfectly. Vertex AI The Google API is used to identify which object exists in each bounding box using embedding technology. You will need to learn how to use the API and upgrade its features. SAM SAM is an open-source framework renowned for its exceptional object segmentation capabilities. The unique advantage of SAM is that it doesn't necessitate manual annotations of specific objects, in this case, food items. The model is pre-trained and is designed to work across diverse scenarios, making it an ideal fit for our segmentation needs. This feature has been almost fully developed, but there is a possibility that some hyperparameters need to be modified. We would like to give priority to hiring developers with extensive experience using YOLOv8.
