Job description
Senior Application Engineer
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT field or 2 to 6 years of experience
- Experience in leadership, development, advanced professional solutions and technical project deliveries
- 2 to 4 years experience supporting Broadridge TwoFour application would be bonus
- 5 to 6 years experience in Incident management, support runbooks, service desk issues. Incident/Problem Management certification a plus.
- 5 to 6years experience in any technical skillsets such as SQL, Bash, Python, etc.
- Previous experience supporting any of the following trading applications including Murex, TwoFour, FIX drop copy and order routing sessions, and large portfolios of proprietary applications leveraged globally by developers, back office, front office, regulatory, compliance teams
- Previous experience supporting automation tools such as UiPath
- Previous experience supporting scheduling tools such as VisualCron or JAMS
- Previous experience with ticketing systems such as FreshService or ServiceNow
- Proven experience and understanding of infrastructure, physical blades, VMs, clustered databases, distributed application systems, networking
- Expert level experience in monitoring and handling alerts, leveraging Greylog, Rapid7, Splunk a plus
- Experience in FIX & Swift Protocols. Integrations, conformance, productions support.
- Experience writing basic database queries, automation scripts, or debugging any aforementioned.
- Experience in advanced technical analysis, technical solutions, infrastructure support engineering.
- Experience in MS SQL and/or Oracle
- Calm under pressure, able to handle the multiple projects at once
- The ability to rationalize the impact of multiple concurrent issues/requests and prioritize work accordingly
- Experience with SSRS, or other reporting applications
- Experience working in futures, commodities, rates, OTC and FX
- Experience in providing services to agreed SLA’s
- Experience working both independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment is essential
