The position

A s a Post Merger Integration Finance Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

You will hold a critical position within the business and function as a trusted and solution-oriented partner to the Finance GBS leadership team and other key stakeholders. You will collaborate with the global finance organization to enhance and ensure effective management of post-merger integration of the company’s shared services functions, processes systems, transition of business services to GBS model.

The Post Merger Integration Finance Manager will be an individual contributor role working closely with the HQ team. You will be responsible for managing the integration of finance activities for companies that have been acquired. Candidate will work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integration plans that align with the overall strategy and goals of the organization. The candidate should have excellent project management skills, operations, skillset, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

• Support central finance integration team in Headquarters in developing and implementing post-merger integration plans, including project charters, timelines, and budgets.
• Drive hand-on tasks and deliverables in the integration e.g. to ensure the new entity is set up properly in central systems, creation of cost center structures, chart of accounts mapping etc.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the integration plans are executed effectively and efficiently.
• Drive GBS integration efforts aligning across GBS areas and ensuring the new entity is captured in the right GBS teams. Collaborate with central team to develop and implement communication plans for stakeholders, including employees, customers, and suppliers.
• Identify and manage risks associated with the integration process and develop contingency plans together with the Finance Integration Lead.Monitor and report on progress of the integration to the finance integration lead and escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications

To be our new Post Merger Integration Finance Manager, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in post-merger finance integration or a related field.
• Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of key finance processes and deliverables within record-to-report and financial planning & analysis.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members at all.
• Work closely with the central team in Headquarters on resource allocation and planning.

• Conduct post-merger evaluations to assess the success of the integration process and identify areas for improvement.
• Co-Develop and implement best practices for post-merger integration and ensure that they are shared across the organization.
