You will support the Head Legal Risk Management of Roche Diagnostics India on leading and driving the legal strategy in the Organization across its business territories i.e India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh. You will be the legal business partner for the assigned internal business/function stakeholders for end to end legal support, strategic and operational.
Roles Responsibilities:
Understand the business activities and draw and implement legal strategy for assigned areas of business/functions.
Legal Risk identification, drawing implementation of mitigation plan.
Understand the business activities and advise on/draft appropriate forms of Agreement including standardization.
Work with the internal stakeholders and lead the negotiation, drafting, vetting and reviewing business contracts like Distribution Agreement, CFA Services Agreement, Instrument Placement Contract, Tender Documents, Supply Contract, Business Promotion activities, Leave License / Lease Agreements, Employment Contracts, etc.
Review the tender documents and advice on appropriate legal strategy, where needed.
Drafting, vetting and reviewing replies / submissions to Govt. Authorities.
Manage the external counsels including coordinating for various legal matters like consumer complaints, legal notices from customers, show cause notices from Statutory Authority, litigations, debt recovery, cheque bouncing, employment matters, etc. and determine the litigation strategy in consultation with Head Legal Risk Management. Review the replies/submissions w.r.t. legal notices, litigation, etc.
Responsible for Contract Database Management
Responsible for Litigation Database Management
Legal Advisory including but not to the promotional material, labeling requirement, healthcare compliance, social media guidelines, data privacy, digital health, competition and anti-trust laws, etc.
Identify and impart legal training to business partners.
Work closely with the Compliance Ethics function on driving the Compliance Ethics Agenda.
Ensure timely internal and external annual submissions.
Keep track of various developments to applicable regulations, identify its business implications and keep Stakeholders updated about the same.
