Position: Asst. Manager/Sr. Executive - Purchase

Location: Vapi

Experience: 3 - 7 Years

Industries: Plastic

Responsibilities:

• Identifying & developing alternate new vendors to get the best materials at best rates & to overcome single source
• Ensuring the procurements of finished products from right supplier with effective costing and right quality in right time
• Working closely with the Regulatory, Quality, & Packaging Development Team for the new specifications creation & new developments
• Ensuring timely payments to the suppliers and seamless delivery of priority items in close coordination with respective departments
• Preparing costing of Carton, Leaflet, Label & Corrugated Box and accordingly negotiating & comparing quotations received from vendors
• Executing projects in procurement to optimize cost (freight cost, contractual labor cost and material cost), facilitating resource requirement, developed suppliers and creating capability to deliver required material with ease
• Preparing annual budgets, monthly MIS and tracking price trend of market
• Floating RFQ and selection of vendors based on quality, service and cost and collecting samples from selected vendors for approval
• Following purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures; preparing MIS reports with a view to appraise top management and users of the routine inventory management activities
• Establishing & nourishing day-to-day relationship with vendors; identifying & developing alternate vendor source for localization, reduction in delivery time and improved consistency in quality & competition among vendors

Required Qualification: - Any Engineering

Salary :- Upto 8.00 LPA
