Position Mission: A Manager - Accounts and Finance will oversee and manage the organization’s financial operations.

The person will be responsible to lead a team of accounting professionals, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective financial management.

The position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Responsibilities: ·

Financial Reporting:

Overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. ·

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Collaborating with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitoring and analyzing financial performance against budgeted targets. Providing recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement. ·

Financial Analysis:

Conducting in-depth financial analysis, including profitability analysis, trend analysis, and variance analysis. Providing insights into financial performance, identifying areas of improvement, and presenting findings to senior management. ·

Cash Flow Management:

Monitoring and managing cash flow, including receivables, payables, and working capital. Optimizing cash utilization, implementing effective cash management strategies and ensuring adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations. ·

Compliance and Audit:

Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, laws, and internal policies. Coordinating and supporting financial audits and implement recommendations. Staying updated on changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements. ·

Team Leadership:

Leading and mentoring a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Fostering a positive work environment and encourage professional development within the group. ·

Strategic Financial Planning:

Providing strategic financial guidance to senior management in decision-making processes. Assessing financial risks and opportunities, evaluating investment options, and contributing to developing business strategies. ·

Relationship Management:

Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure adequate economic coordination. ·

Cost Management:

Implementing cost control measures, analyzing cost structures, and identifying areas for cost optimization. Driving efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations, while maintaining a robust control environment. ·

Continuous Improvement:

Identifying process improvement opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhancing accuracy, and improving efficiency. Implementing automation and technology solutions to drive operational effectiveness. · Approving and revoking access rights · Informing IT about any team member’s exit for data backup · Managing attendance of the team · Continuous coaching, grooming, and mentoring of team members. · Reviewing performance of the team · Coordinating with the HR team in case of any concern of team members related to performance, misconduct, or behavior. · Informing IT regarding employee joining and exit

Essential Functions: · Contributing to strategic fiscal management, accurate reporting, and compliance with financial regulations

Qualifications, Experience & Required Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CA are preferred. Proven experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 5 years of relevant experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills. Sound understanding of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and internal control frameworks. Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Strategic thinking and ability to provide financial insights for business growth. High level of integrity and ethical conduct in handling financial information
