EE Component Validation Engineer

Job description
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Materials /Chemical/ Civil/ Aerospace/Computer) from an ABET accredited university
- Experience in automotive EE HW validation
- Experience in testing advance automotive ECUs (HPC Zonal Computers etc.) along with the peripheral SOCs
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuits components and systems.
- Ability to read and understand circuit board schematics.
- Experience in using testing tools and equipment such as oscilloscopes signal generators and spectrum analyzers logic analyzers etc.
- Proficient in embedded code debugging to perform white box testing.
- Excellent familiarity with semiconductor data sheets to enable register level diagnostics and debugging for SOCs.
- Demonstrated Hardware IntheLoop systems experience (dSPACE ETAS HIL systems)
- Experience with HIL electrical/ wiring harness load box design implementation and troubleshooting
- Proficient in automotive network and diagnostics protocols.
- Proficient in wireless communication technologies used in automotive industry (NFC UWB WiFi etc.)
- Experience with statistical analysis of data to establish pass/fail criteria
- Good problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master s degree in Applied Physics Mechanical Electrical Aerospace or Computer Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- Experience in automotive EE HW validation
- Experience in EOL DV and PV testing for automotive domain
- Understanding of Bootloaders and Autosar MCAL for board bring up activities and SOC validation
- DFSS Certification
