Job description
Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate Solutions Architect with a diverse backend technology background to lead largeengineering teams at Simform. You should have a good understanding of software architecture design, backend technologies, and cloud platforms and have experience leading a team of developers.
Responsibilities:
• Requirements Analysis:
o Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and objectives.
o Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Solution Design:
o Develop high-level and detailed technical designs based on business requirements.
o Create and maintain architecture documentation, ensuring that designs are welldocumented and aligned with industry best practices.
• Technology Evaluation:
o Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
o Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks that align with the organization's needs and standards.
• Collaboration:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
o Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Architecture Governance:
o Enforce architectural standards and best practices.
o Conduct regular architecture reviews to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.
• Scalability and Performance:
o Design solutions that are scalable and performant, taking into consideration future growth and changes in demand.
• Security:
o Ensure that solutions adhere to the highest standards of security.
o Collaborate with the security team to implement and monitor security measures.
• Cost Optimization:
o Optimize solutions for cost-effectiveness, considering infrastructure and operational costs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or a similar role.
• In-depth understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus
