Job Description for Verbal Faculty

Role and Responsibilities: -

• Develop a comprehensive curriculum aligned with the specific requirements and format of IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE exams.

• Create detailed lesson plans and instructional materials covering all exam sections: listening, reading, writing, and speaking.

• Administer practice tests and assessments to gauge students' proficiency levels accurately.

• Offer constructive feedback on students' performance, identifying areas for improvement.

• Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.

• Enhance students' language skills, addressing grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency.

• Conduct targeted exercises and activities to remedy weaknesses identified through assessments.

• Instruct students on effective test-taking strategies and techniques for each exam section.

• Familiarize students with the exam formats, timing, and scoring criteria to boost confidence.

• Facilitate speaking and writing workshops to refine students' responses within exam time constraints.

• Provide guidance on organizing ideas, improving coherence, cohesion, and effective expression.

• Implement exercises to enhance listening and reading comprehension skills.

• Teach strategies for rapid and accurate understanding of spoken and written content.

• Integrate cultural context into language instruction for real-world English-speaking scenarios.

• Emphasize contextual language usage, including idiomatic expressions.

• Incorporate technology tools and resources for simulated exam environments, such as computer-based practice tests.

• Offer individualized attention and support to students requiring extra assistance in specific language skills.

• Provide additional resources and guidance to facilitate self-study.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments, changes, and updates in IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE exams to ensure instructional materials and strategies remain current.

• Motivate and encourage students to maintain commitment to their language learning goals.

• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages active participation and engagement.

• Maintain regular communication with students and provide feedback to parents or guardians on progress and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with colleagues and actively participate in professional development opportunities to continually enhance teaching skills.

Requirements: -

• A bachelor's or master's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a similar field is advantageous.

• Previous experience in teaching English as a second language.

• Specific experience in preparing students for IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE exams is preferred.

• In-depth understanding of the format, structure, and scoring criteria of IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE exams.

• Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to explain complex language concepts clearly and concisely.

• Familiarity with educational technology tools for language instruction.

• Competence in using computer-based platforms for simulated practice tests.

• Ability to create and administer assessments to evaluate students' language proficiency.

• Provide constructive feedback to guide student improvement.

• Enthusiasm and motivational skills to inspire students to achieve their language learning goals.
