Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Finance Manager located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial activities of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. The Senior Finance Manager will also be responsible for managing the finance team and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or their regional equivalents are a plus.
Skills
- Proficiency in local accounting standards and regulations, such as Indian GAAP or SE Asia GAAP.
- Experience in preparing and analyzing Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, and Cash Flow statements in compliance with regional accounting standards.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance specific to India and Southeast Asian countries.
- Familiarity with currency exchange rates and their impact on financial reporting for multinational organizations operating in the region.
- Understanding of transfer pricing regulations and their implications for financial reporting in India and Southeast Asia.
- Ability to navigate and comply with regional financial reporting requirements, including statutory audits and filings.
- Proficient in using accounting software commonly used in the region, such as Tally ERP 9, QuickBooks, or regional-specific accounting software.
- Experience with managing financial transactions in multiple currencies and mitigating foreign exchange risks.
- Knowledge of government incentives, grants, and subsidies available in India and Southeast Asian countries that can impact financial planning and reporting for businesses in the healthcare industry.
