Role Description
Gene Apparels is looking for a full-time Merchandiser for our Coimbatore facility. In this on-site role, the Merchandiser will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to production planning, material sourcing, and costing and pricing. The Merchandiser will have to liaise closely with production teams and vendors to ensure efficient delivery of goods and services to our customers. The Merchandiser should be able to provide timely updates to the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills to liaise effectively with production teams and vendors
- Experience in sales and retail is required to ensure the merchandise meets customer demands.
- Marketing skills to assist with product development and branding.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make decisions in a timely and effective manner.
- Knowledge of textile manufacturing and production processes is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Textile Science or related field.
