This role is for a substantial, fast-growing and well-respected
UK tech company who has hired us to exclusively recruit for them. It is a permanent Work from Home position and everyday you’ll be working directly as part of their UK team. It is a senior role with real opportunities to learn and develop. The business we are representing is the world's largest independent manufacturer and supplier of Jaguar car parts. Key points about our client: 30+ years old 60 staff HQ’d in the UK Location: Permanent Remote Work from Home in India Experience: 4+ Years. Shift Timings: 12pm - 9:30pm (Summer), 1pm - 10:30pm (Winter) Role and responsibilities To develop, maintain and improve our web platform portfolio and mission critical business systems. Your primary responsibility will be to write code that adheres to agreed architecture, principles, guidelines, standards, and design patterns to ensure developed features are aligned with the future-state vision whilst meeting the functional and non-functional needs of the business. Design and implement features that meet the functional and non-functional needs of the business within agreed timeframes. Ensure cross-platform functionality, navigation, accessibility, and ease of use. Contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives. Design and create interface mock-ups and prototypes. Ensure user input is validated appropriately. Identify and resolve bugs and other issues. Demonstrate new features and design ideas to stakeholders and upper management. Required skills and experience. Angular 10+ (3 yrs.) Highly proficient in the use of Angular to create Single Page Applications RxJS Library (2 yrs.) Worked on customer facing projects. Ecommerce experience is highly desired. (example projects should look high quality) Strong understanding of responsive design and user experience (UX) best practice Awareness of SEO & how web development can help improve it. Experience in the full development process - worked with mockups, analyzing & discussing designs before starting to develop them. Desired skills and experience Unit Testing with Angular - 1+ years Monorepo pattern - 1+ years Azure DevOps to manage work items. Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. Previous experience working with version control systems.
