Title

– Presales and Consulting Head for DevOps Services

Work Location : Chennai (Siruseri)

Responsibilities

– He/ she will be responsible for running all presales and consulting activities for DevOps services along with working on consulting opportunities. He/she will work closely with the larger DevOps practice team to develop RFI/RFP responses for DevOps requirements.

Job Description:

Person with minimum 15 years of experience in IT (preferably in software development, testing or Infrastructure areas) with at least 10+years’ experience in supporting DevOps – Delivery, Presales and Practice activities.

DevOps Consulting and Presales related skills:

Experience in

Creating sales collaterals and mapping organizational differentiators and offerings to customer needs and current trends in DevOps Performing consulting and due-diligence activities for various DevOps needs including setting up of DevOps CoE Creating different Pricing models based on effort estimations for Proposal needs. Creating solution offerings for Client requirements with exposure to writing proposals, responding to RFP(Q) and other presales functions. Presenting the DevOps capabilities, Case studies and benefits delivered to existing customers. Engaging with prospective clients to understand their DevOps needs and challenges. Providing expert advice on DevOps strategies, methodologies, and best practices. Collaboration with the sales team and account team to create customized DevOps solutions based on client requirements. Creating a Go to Market (GTM) strategy for NN accounts. Working with marketing team to conduct campaigns, cold calls to generate leads. Participating in events, publish case study fliers, networking in public forums to generate leads. Cross selling DevOps service offering across EN accounts Work closely with the Geo sales, Client partners and Overlay sales team in positioning DevOps propositions. Excellent interpersonal and management skills Should be a thought leader and should have presented multiple papers in various conferences on DevOps. Broad experience on multiple verticals / Domains will be essential. Should have been a subject matter expert in DevOps in Customer facing roles. Exposure for creating collaterals for marketing and sales support

DevOps technology/delivery related skills:

Experience in

Continuous delivery, Agile Development Practices and Lean start-up methodology and should be proficient in cutting edge of DevOps, Cloud technologies. Implementing/Leading DevOps transformation journeys for enterprise customers Cloud IaaS, PaaS, SaaS delivery patterns and development by using the following any of public cloud and private cloud technologies: Azure DevOps, AWS, GCP, OpenShift Helping customers with Best Practices, industry PoV’s around DevOps & SRE areas. Minimum 5 or more on below DevOps tooling: Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, Fortify, Checkmarx, SonarQube, Artifactory, Spinnaker, Argo CD, Rancher, Ansible, Chef, Puppet Terraform, Digital ai, Plutora, Cloudbees etc., Onboarding below mentioned application technologies (two or more) into DevOps automation platform: Java, Python, Node, Data Science, Salesforce etc., Market awareness on latest DevOps Tools, trends, and Solutions Strong understanding in DevOps Value Stream Map Visualization, DORA metrics and dashboards

Good communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem solving skills and learning attitude
