Job Purpose

As the Sales Head for Agri Finance & EXIM, the individual will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy for agricultural finance products and services as well as opportunities of EXIM across SME sector. The primary objective will be to drive revenue growth, build specialized team for Agri, expand market share, and enhance customer satisfaction within the agricultural finance sector. This role requires a deep understanding of the agricultural industry, financial products, and strong leadership skills to manage a high-performing sales team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Sales Strategy Development and Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of the Agri sales & EXIM strategy
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performance Agri team
  • Collaborate with Product & RMG to roll out agricultural finance products
  • Work with SME team to identify EXIM opportunities
  • Robust risk management to ensure stable Agri business portfolio within SME

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build a roadmap for roll out of Agri finance products in key markets along with sales plan
  • Build team of highly motivated people and culture of high performance within Agri team
  • Work with Product team for roll out of effective Agri finance products
  • Support Regional teams for approvals & disbursements, deal level execution
  • Manage E2E TAT to ensure seamless customer journey
  • Work with RMG to ensure regular portfolio monitoring and minimum delinquency within Agri portfolio

EXIM

  • Work on EXIM opportunities with SME Target market and create sales pipeline for same
  • Work with SME team for driving business growth within EXIM clients
  • Work with T&M team to drive cross-sell and increase stickiness within SME clients

Experience

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in the agricultural finance sector (15+ years)
  • In-depth knowledge of agricultural finance products, market trends, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Education / Preferred Qualifications

The job holder needs to be minimum MBA with an experience of 15+ years in the industry.
