JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ability to convert Industrial Design A-Surface to DFM ready parts, understand Plastic Manufacturing process and optimize design for cost and manufacturability. Ability to work on Surface model in CAD in SolidWorks. Ability to do design calculations for strength, force, friction, snaps, bending moments, impact etc. Ability to be innovative in conceptual problem solving and come up with creative engineering solutions. NOTE: DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PRIOR EXPEREINCE IN PLASTIC PART DESIGN No of Opening: 3 Experience: 3 to 5 years Required Skill Set: Concept Design, Part Split up, ID to DFM Conversion, surface modelling Plastic Design Plastic Product Manufacturing process skill set like FDM, SLA, SLS, Injection moulding, Silicon Moulding Engg Basics & Calculations Experience in IP Related Enclosure design Thermal related Problem solving skill DFM, DFA & DFS GD&T Tolerance stack-up analysis In hand experience proto development, testing & validation Should be able to develop a project from concept definition to production detail design Critical thinking & problem solving Understanding of E&E from cross functional team Good communication and presentation skills Written and oral communication.Job tags
