SQL Database Administrator professional with 6 + years of experience

in MSSQL Database Administration on-premises and azure environments · Should have good knowledge on

SQL Server Architecture. ·

Azure – IaaS, PaaS , Database Migration experience of On-Premises SQL Server Databases Microsoft Azure hosted DBs and managed instances. Hands on Experience in planning and performing

database migrations and upgrades

(In Place, Side by Side) (e.g., SQL 2008 R2 to 2019/2022 SQL database movement from/to cloud). Hands on experience in installation, configuring & Patching

MS SQL Server versions (MSSQL 2014,2016,2017,2019,2022) with service packs, cu’s and hot fixes on standalone, clustered servers and private/on premise cloud environments. Expertise in administration of high availability solutions

like Clustering, Always On, Log Shipping and Replication with experience in Cloud Exposure. Expertise in Install and configure

new Microsoft SQL Server instances, including

Always On availability groups and failover clustering. Experienced in Database Performance, Maintenance and Development to perform the following: Log file Usage & Temp DB management. Monitoring and resolving data lock issues, Disk Space issues Check all statistics related to memory, locks, I/O, database response time, wait events, top sessions and background processes. Creation of right indexes, creating logins and users, Fixing Orphaned users

Experienced in Configuration and manage SQL Security settings. Experienced in Database Backup/Restore, Recovery & DR . Hands on Experience on Create, modify, and optimize SQL Server Agent jobs and maintenance plans, troubleshoot failed jobs and resolve issues in a timely manner. Hands on Experience of Troubleshoot application slowness

and

performance issues . Good Knowledge of T-SQL query tuning Working experience of managing & upgrade

of SQL Server Integration Services ( SSIS ), SQL Server Reporting Services ( SSRS ) &

SSAS

Instance. Experience in using SQL Server Tools like Import/Export Wizard, SSMS, SQL Profiler, DTA and SQL Query Analyzer. Good Knowledge of PowerShell, Implementing Scripting solutions for Monitoring and Task automation. Should be flexible & ready to work

in 24x7 support environment. Should have knowledge/certification in MS Azure/AWS cloud .
