Job description

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus. Proven experience (3+ years) as a Workday HR IT Test Lead or in a similar IT testing role. In-depth knowledge of Workday HR modules, including a strong understanding of testing methodologies, security, and compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Strong expertise in test strategy development, test planning, and execution within a complex IT environment. Proficient in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for testing processes. Hands on experience in UAT Testing.

Desired Qualifications: Strong understanding of HR processes and practices, with a focus on leveraging technology for optimal HR solutions. Project management experience, including task prioritization, timeline management, and successful project delivery. Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate issues, assess risks, and implement proactive measures. The ability to lead without reporting authority and to achieve outcomes in a complex, matrixed environment - leading through influence and deep collaboration across the enterprise. The ability to manage ambiguity and shape new initiatives / business from scratch. Strategic thinking and big picture orientation / business acumen with strong interactions with key stakeholders. Has an innovative, agile, and high-performing teaming mindset. Familiar and stays abreast of technology thought leadership - latest advances in the market, trends, and modern technology frameworks (e.g., Agile, XOps).

The Workday HR IT Test Lead will: Lead Testing Activities for Workday HR IT solutions, ensuring the comprehensive evaluation of system functionalities. Implement and Optimize testing of Workday modules to align with business objectives Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and efficient Workday HR experiences and contribute to achieving organizational goals. Develop and implement effective test strategies to validate the functionality, security, and compliance of Workday HR IT solutions. Communicate effectively with the Development team and Product Owners, providing updates on testing progress, issues, and recommendations for improvement. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results. Assess and mitigate risks associated with testing activities, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of Workday HR IT solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
