Profile - Communication and Fundraising Manager

Job Summary:

Self Reliant India is looking for a dedicated communications & fundraising Manager to join our team. To support SRI'S fundraising and communications work. This includes supporting the implementation of strategic communications and fundraising by planning and executing ideas to proactively promote the public profile of SRI and build public awareness. The candidate will also be responsible for donor outreach and coordinating fundraising initiatives of SRI to reach its target budget. This role may include some overtime as well as occasional weekend work. We're looking for someone who can operate effectively with little or no supervision and who can manage multiple tasks at once.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Fundraising

• Understand all the way of raising funds, 
• Candidates with some level of experience in fundraising are preferred
• Good knowledge of Corporate fundraising and CSR activities.
• Good Knowledge of Individual and Face-to-face fundraising.

Communications

• Lead communications strategy, including oversight and integration of the organization's brand identity into written and electronic (email, web, social media) communications.
• Drive frequent communications and outreach to stakeholders on the organization's activities, priorities, and developments.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to develop brochures,  marketing strategy and pitch material, newsletters, annual reports, and various dashboard reports for institutional fundraising.
• Produce  fundraising reports/presentations  for advisory board meetings and the core team.
• Actively  manage and document donor, sponsor, and institutional funder relationships,  actions, and notes to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent donor engagement and communications.

Experience and Knowledge

• Degree in the relevant discipline, preferably a  Master's Degree or higher in the domain.
• Must have a proven track record of successful applications for substantial funding from   Donors/ Trusts / CSRs/ philanthropists nationally or internationally.
• Excellent communication, influencing, negotiating, strategic planning, proposal writing, and presentation skills.
• 01-03 Years of experience in fundraising positions while developing effective communication strategies and a flair for the creation of innovative organization marketing content.
• Experience in project management with a proven track record of delivering on objectives
• Experience in developing and implementing media, advocacy, or marketing campaigns
• Experience in representing an organization to the public or/and media
• Knowledge of the environment in which non-governmental organizations operate.

Skills and Special Aptitudes

• Self motivated individual who is a Self - starter is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and within a small dynamic team
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
• Ability to manage a complex workload and work to tight deadlines
• Standard office ICT skills, including  social media & content creation platforms.
• Ability to work alone and as well as in a team

Note:

• The initial 6 months will be in Rewari, then full-time in Delhi.
• Salary – As per Industry Standards based on experience.
• Location: Delhi-NCR 20-25 % traveling
